Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required.
• Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited school required.
• Demonstrated basic pharmacy clinical skills.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Pharmacist license in Washington or ability to obtain license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders for appropriateness and accuracy.
• Interpret and rectify physician orders and IV orders.
• Interpret prescriptions and select medications for dispensing.
• Monitor patients for drug interactions and adverse effects.
• Supervise and train pharmacy technicians and interns.
• Participate in development of drug protocols and quality audits.
