Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist for our Westminster, MD location. This on-site role involves dispensing medications, counseling customers, and supporting immunization administration within state regulations.

The position is intermittent and classed as a temporary employee. A Maryland pharmacist license and a PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy are required, with pay ranging hourly based on experience and market factors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in state of Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
