Job summary

Genoa Healthcare seeks a Per Diem Pharmacist to perform professional duties associated with processing prescriptions. Per Diem Pharmacists are temporary and work on an intermittent basis, covering PTO and absences at multiple Kentucky locations.

Primary duties include dispensing medications, advising customers on use, and ensuring compliance with state pharmacy laws. Immunization administration is possible where allowed, with a benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• BA or PharmD in Pharmacy and current pharmacist license.
• Willing to complete LAI Training and administer LAI.
• Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation.
• Retail / Long Term Care / Behavioral health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with applicable State Board of Pharmacy laws.
• Administers immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Performs other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
