Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum, is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist for the Calvert County Mental Health Clinic in Prince Frederick, MD. DUTIES include dispensing medications, advising patients on use, and delivering strong customer service in a clinic setting.

The role requires a PharmD or Bachelors in Pharmacy and an active Maryland pharmacist license, with immunization administration allowed by the state. Hours are 8:30am–5:00pm Mon–Thu and 8:00am–4:30pm Fri, as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD is required.
• Current pharmacist license in Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
