Job summary

The Ark in Chicago, IL is seeking a Pharmacist (PRN/Per Diem) to provide as-needed coverage, with shifts varying and compensation at $50 per hour.

The role covers vacations, illness, and other scheduling needs, requiring independence, reliability, and a patient-centered approach.

You will report to the Director of Pharmacy and collaborate with medical providers and client services to dispense accurately, review medications, and support compassionate care for the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.
• Experience dispensing in retail, community, or clinical pharmacies required.
• Experience with Liberty pharmacy software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately per orders.
• Review prescriptions for safety, dosing, interactions.
• Counsel clients on medications and usage.
• Explain risks, side effects and interactions clearly.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate records.
• Coordinate with providers and team for patient care.
