Job summary

Brown University Health Services Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist to oversee daily operations, process prescriptions, provide direct patient care and counseling to students, providers and staff.

The role requires a RI pharmacist license, a BS in Pharmacy, 3-5 years’ retail or equivalent experience, and availability for 2-3 shifts per month, evenings and weekends during the academic year. This is a seasonal/part-time position with on-site work.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy required; RI pharmacist license required.
• 3-5 years’ experience working in a retail pharmacy or equivalent.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends during the academic year.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of Brown Health Services pharmacy.
• Process prescriptions and provide direct patient care and counseling to students, providers and staff.
• Manage inventory levels, place and receive orders, and perform pricing updates within budget.
