We seek a Per Diem Pharmacist to perform professional duties related to prescription processing. This is a temporary, intermittent role.

Position coverage: PTO at our Lawrence County Health Department Psychosocial Rehabilitation, 2101 James St., Lawrenceville, IL.

Pharmacy hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with a 1-hour lunch.

Primary Responsibilities

• Distribute drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
• Provide information to customers about medications and their use
• Deliver superior customer service
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws of the State Board of Pharmacy
• Administer immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
• Perform usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications

• BA or PharmD in Pharmacy
• Current pharmacist license in Illinois
• Willing to complete LAI Training and administer LAI
• Valid Driver’s license and insurance

Preferred Qualifications

• Retail Pharmacy Experience
• Long Term Care Experience

The hourly pay range is $43.17 to $84.95, based on full-time employment and various factors. Benefits include comprehensive packages, incentive programs, stock purchase options, and 401k contributions.
