BayMark Health Services, Inc. is seeking a per diem Pharmacist to provide pharmacy services to patients, nurses, physicians and staff by reviewing orders and prescriptions for safety and accuracy, and to support methadone programs within the facility.

The ideal candidate will be licensed as a Pharmacist in Louisiana, hold a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy, possess CPR/First Aid certification, and be proficient in HIPAA compliance, documentation, and autonomous work in a demanding clinical setting.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
• Currently licensed as Pharmacist in Louisiana.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Understanding of HIPAA, Federal, State and CARF standards and regulations.
• Knowledge of medications that interfere with the effectiveness of methadone.
• Ability to recognize overdose of methadone and take appropriate action.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure drugs are handled safely to protect patient welfare.
• Develop and enforce policies for drug handling, storage, and inventory.
• Maintain patient profiles and ensure accurate documentation of visits and activities.
• Provide training to facility staff on medication administration and safety.
