Job summary

BAART Program seeks a knowledgeable per diem pharmacist to provide pharmacy services, interpret orders, and ensure safety of medications within an outpatient setting. The role focuses on dispensing, order review, and maintaining patient medication profiles.

The ideal candidate holds a Pharmacy degree, active state license, CPR/First Aid certification, and strong documentation and communication skills to support clinicians and patients in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required.
• Currently licensed as Pharmacist in the state assigned.
• Must have or obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Understanding of HIPAA and regulatory standards.
• Able to document visits and activities clearly.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and evaluate orders and prescriptions for safety and validity.
• Manage drug handling, storage, and distribution procedures.
• Maintain patient profiles and conduct biennial inventory.
• Provide training to facility staff on medication administration and safety.
• Dispense take home medication to eligible patients.
• Respond to emergencies and support regulatory audits.
