Job summary

Akumin is seeking PET/CT technologists to connect with patients, explain procedures, and deliver high-quality imaging across outpatient, mobile, and hospital settings in Rhode Island.

You will interpret physician orders, select imaging parameters, and maintain safety and radiology standards; travel to multiple sites may be required and candidates must have NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification and CPR.

Qualifications

• Pre-screening and radiation safety knowledge.
• Ability to work at multiple locations.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Patient safety and radiation safety responsibilities.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic PET/CT images.
• Communicate effectively with patients and radiologists.
• Train new technologists and/or PC's.
• Troubleshoot scanner and peripheral equipment.
