St. Luke’s University Health Network Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity

St. Luke’s University Health Network, the region’s largest and most established health system, a major teaching hospital, and one of the nation’s 100 Top Hospitals, is seeking a per diem Board Certified fellowship-trained Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join our dedicated team providing excellent care at the Network’s first pediatric emergency department.

In response to growth and investment in pediatric services, St. Luke’s recently announced the establishment of St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital at the Bethlehem Campus. We are looking for providers excited about growth and new opportunities to join our team!

About the Department of Emergency Medicine and St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital:
  • Robust 14-campus network serving over 320,000 patients annually.
  • Includes comprehensive stroke centers, 4 PCI centers, a level 1 trauma center, a level 2 trauma center, and four level 4 trauma centers.
  • Supports and trains emergency medicine residents at two residencies: St. Luke’s University Hospital – Bethlehem (36 residents) and St. Luke’s Anderson Campus (30 residents).
  • Consists of inpatient, emergency medicine, primary, and specialty care providers across various locations.
  • Announced the establishment of St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital at the Bethlehem Campus in 2023, and is a proud member of the Children’s Hospital Association.
  • The Pediatric Emergency Department is a 6-bed unit within St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital, expanding to 11 beds upon completion of ongoing construction.
  • Features a 17-bed renovated Inpatient Pediatric Unit and an 8-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
  • Supported by a growing team of pediatric specialists across 40 specialty areas, including surgery, GI, endocrinology, nephrology, neurology, cardiology, dermatology, psychiatry, pulmonology, radiology, anesthesia, orthopedics, plastic surgery, and more.
  • The region’s first and only freestanding pediatric care building, Luke’s Pediatric Specialty Center, opened in Spring 2022, providing pediatric-friendly, multidisciplinary care.
  • Extensive pediatric primary care offices across the service area.
  • Recently launched the first pediatric residency program with 6 residents per year.
