First Choice Nurses is seeking an experienced PCU Registered Nurse for per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia. You will have the freedom to select shifts that fit your life, including 7a-7p and 7p-7a options, and enjoy flexible scheduling.

Per diem pay is competitive, with daily and weekly pay options and easy mobile scheduling. Required: Virginia RN license, 2+ years PCU experience in the last 4 years, BLS, ACLS, recent TB test, and vaccination or approved exemption.

Formación

• Active Virginia RN License.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS.
• Current AHA ACLS.
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.

PCU RN Requirements

• Active Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current AHA BLS
• Current AHA ACLS
