Job summary

First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia. You control your schedule, picking shifts that fit your life, with options for daily or weekly pay and the freedom to work as little as one shift per month.

Active Virginia RN license and at least 2 years PCU experience are required, with BLS/ACLS and TB testing up to date. Vaccination or approved exemption is required.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital environments.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status, document conditions.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams; maintain EMR accuracy.
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.

PCU RN Requirements

• Active Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
