First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts. Per diem roles offer flexible scheduling with shifts from 7a-7p and 7p-7a, allowing you to build a schedule that fits your life.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years PCU nursing experience in past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS.
• Current AHA ACLS.
• QuantiFERON-TB test within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and status changes.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintain electronic medical records.
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.

PCU RN Requirements

• Active Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
