First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. You can pick up shifts that fit your life, with flexible scheduling and options like daily or weekly pay.

Active Virginia RN license and 2 years of PCU experience within the last 4 years, plus AHA BLS/ACLS and essential vaccination credentials, are required. Join a locally owned nurse staffing team and shape your own schedule.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital environments.
• Monitor patient conditions and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications, IV therapies and treatments as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Adhere to infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapt to different hospital units and environments.
