Job summary

Brattleboro Memorial Hospital in Brattleboro, Vermont is seeking a Staff RN for the Progressive Care Unit on a per diem, part-time basis. You will deliver direct patient care and work within a dynamic multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, compassionate nursing care.

The position requires an RN licensed in Vermont (or a compact license), BLS, and ACLS within 6 months. You’ll join a unit that manages medical-surgical and telemetry patients with close collaboration among the care team.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of RN accredited program required, BSN Preferred.
• Experience: Previous acute care experience preferred
• Licensure/Certification: Registered Nurse currently licensed by the State of Vermont required or compact license required
• Current BLS healthcare provider status
• Current ACLS within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
• Lead in maintaining a safe environment and coordinate care with the team.
• Utilize nursing process to restore and promote patient health and well-being.
• Partner with patients, families, and the care team in planning and coordination of care.
