Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in New Jersey.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience in perioperative or critical care nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs, airway, and consciousness in the immediate postoperative period.
• Administer medications and pain management as prescribed.
• Assess and manage postoperative complications (respiratory distress, bleeding, nausea, pain).
• Document status and interventions in medical records.
• Communicate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and families about patient care.
