Job summary

Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU on a per diem basis. The RN will receive patients from the Operating Room, monitor vitals, and intervene as prescribed within nursing scope by surgeon or anesthesiologist.

Responsibilities include transport assistance to outpatient surgery or surgical floors, monitoring IV sedation and local cases in the OR, and providing competent care across the life span from infancy to geriatric.

Qualifications

• One year Critical Care or PACU experience or basic Coronary Care Class with hemodynamic experience.
• Age specific education and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive patients from the Operating Room and monitor vital signs.
• Assist with IV sedation and local cases in the Operating Room.
• Assist in transporting patients to outpatient Surgery and surgical floors.
• Provide competent care for patients across the life span: infancy to geriatric.
