Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the PACU for a per diem role at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA. The RN will receive patients from the Operating Room, monitor vital signs, and provide timely interventions within the nursing scope.

They may assist with patient transport and IV sedation monitoring in the OR. Requirements include a current CA RN license and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with at least one year of Critical Care or PACU

Qualifications

• Current CA Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certificates required.
• One year Critical Care or PACU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives patients from the Operating Room and other ancillary departments.
• Monitors vital signs and performs prescribed interventions within nursing scope.
• Assists with transport to outpatient surgery or surgical floors and monitors IV sedation when indicated.
• Provides competent care for patients across the lifespan, from infancy to geriatric.
