Job summary

Coastal Endoscopy Center in New Jersey is seeking an immediate per diem Registered Nurse to support pre- and post-surgical patients in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. The RN must deliver safe, high-quality care in accordance with JCAHO and state standards.

Requirements include a nursing degree, active NJ RN license, BLS/ALS/PALS certification, and at least 1 year of PreOp/PACU or critical care experience; GI experience is a plus. Per diem pay applies with standard benefits as eligible.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Registered Nurse license in New Jersey.
• Current BLS, ALS and PALS.
• 1+ year in PreOp/PACU or Critical Care; GI experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement nursing care for pre/post-surgical patients in line with standards.
• Ensure high-quality, safe patient care and compliance with professional standards and regulations.
• PACU RN performs additional duties as needed by the department.
