Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking Per Diem Physician Assistants with adult and pediatric experience to join our diverse team on Long Island. Providers will work in our 16-hour and 12-hour centers across Yaphank, Elwood, Bay Shore, Port Jefferson, Deer Park, Commack, Sayville and West Islip.

Applicants should have 2+ years of urgent care or emergency medicine experience, be comfortable with minor procedures, and able to read EKGs and X-rays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-time experience in urgent care or emergency medicine
• Comfortable with minor procedures (suturing, casting, splints) and reading EKGs and X-rays

Responsibilities

• Provide Per Diem physician assistant services at GoHealth Urgent Care centers in East End Long Island locations
• Rotate to listed 16- and 12-hour centers as needed across Yaphank, Elwood, Bay Shore, Port Jefferson, Deer Park, Commack, Sayville and West Islip
