Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a per diem Physician (MD/DO) to join our East End Long Island centers, including Yaphank, Elwood, Bay Shore and Port Jefferson, with 16-hour shifts and some 12-hour options in Deer Park, Commack, Sayville and West Islip.

The position requires board certification in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine and 1–2 years of urgent care or emergency department experience, with proficiency in minor procedures and reading EKGs/X-rays.

Qualifications

• Physicians: BC in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
• 1–2 yrs of experience in urgent care or emergency room setting treating all ages (6 months+).
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints), reading EKGs and X-rays.

Education

Board certified in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
