Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking Per Diem Nurse Practitioners with adult and pediatric experience to join our Northwell-affiliated centers on Long Island. Positions are primarily in 16-hour and 12-hour centers across Yaphank, Elwood, Bay Shore, Port Jefferson, Deer Park, Commack, Sayville, and West Islip.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting treating all ages (6 months and older).
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X-rays.

Responsibilities

• Provide Nurse Practitioner services at GoHealth Urgent Care centers in the East End Long Island region.
• Perform minor procedures, administer medications and vaccines as needed.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients across pediatric and adult populations; order/interpret tests as appropriate.
