Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis- Therapy and Rehab is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist for per diem days and evenings.

The role involves objective assessments and developing comprehensive treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under Therapy Leadership. The position requires a Bachelor's, MS in Physical Therapy, or DPT, plus a current/temporary PT license in the practicing state and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required; certifications must be current before caring for patients independently.
• Preferred 6 months to 1 year of Rehabilitation Physical Therapist experience; adult/geriatric patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians; supervise PT assistants per State Practice Acts.

Education

Bachelor's, Master of Science in Physical Therapy, or Doctor of Physical Therapy
