Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis- Therapy and Rehab is seeking a per diem Physical Therapist to conduct objective assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients.

The role includes direct supervision of patients and supervision of rehab technicians and PT assistants in line with State Practice Acts. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s, MS in Physical Therapy, or DPT, current or Temporary PT license in the state, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• BLS certified is required for independent patient care.
• Current or temporary license to practice physical therapy in the state is required.
• Preferred experience: 6 months to 1 year in rehabilitation for adult/geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• Supervise PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
• Adhere to Mercy mission, values, and service standards.
