Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis- Therapy and Rehab is seeking a per diem Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive personalized treatment programs for adults and seniors.

The role includes supervisory responsibilities for patients, rehab technicians, and PT assistants. Education must include a Bachelor’s, MS in Physical Therapy, or DPT, with current/temporary licensure in the state of practice and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Meet education requirements: Bachelor's, MS in Physical Therapy, or DPT.
• Hold current/temporary Physical Therapist license in the practice state.
• BLS certification is required and must be current before patient care.
• 1+ year of preferred experience with adult/geriatric rehab is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and supervision to rehabilitation technicians.
• Supervise PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
