Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist on a per diem basis to evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and guide rehabilitation using evidence-based manual and therapeutic techniques. The role requires licensure in Massachusetts and a DPT or equivalent degree, with internship experience valued.

Work location is onsite with varied shifts. The position emphasizes patient education, collaboration with nursing staff, and participation in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program is required.
• Licensure as a Massachusetts Physical Therapist is required.
• Experience completing internship or apprenticeship program 1–2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes billing sheet accurately by end of day.
• Evaluates effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
• Performs patient assessment and establishes a plan of care.
• Provides in-service education programs for nursing personnel as needed.
• Identifies and documents goals, anticipated progress, and plans for reevaluation.
