Job summary

The Boston Home in Boston, MA seeks an Occupational Therapist to assess and treat adults with complex neurological conditions, aiming to improve and maintain functional abilities. Qualified candidates hold MA licensure in Occupational Therapy and have strong English communication.

Qualifications

• MA licensure in Occupational Therapy is required.
• 3+ years of assessment and treatment in a Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care facility preferred.
• Ability to practice independently in all appropriate domains within the SNF OT scope.
• Excellent written and oral English skills.
• Experience with NetHealth Therapy and Sigmacare is helpful but not required.
• Ability to lift and move 50 pounds independently and 100 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver treatments to improve/maintain functional abilities in adults with complex neurological conditions.
• Evaluate the individual's capacities and environment to optimize function and independence.
• Provide training in adaptive equipment and assistive technology to support daily activities.
