Job summary

Plymouth Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Massachusetts is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic care team. You will assess residents, develop care plans, provide direct treatment, and collaborate with the clinical team to support patient outcomes.

You will also teach and train caregivers, supervise staff as required, document progress in our system, and ensure compliance with Medicare and related regulations. Competitive weekly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• CEU’s per state licensure requirements.
• Appropriate licensing requirements by individual states must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Screens patients/residents and evaluates their needs, developing appropriate care plans
• Provides direct patient treatment in accordance with established plans of care
• Participates in clinical team meetings and decision-making processes
• Consults with and trains patients, residents, and caregivers
• Documents activities and patient progress according to company clinical documentation system
• Demonstrates knowledge of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations
• Communicates effectively with patients, residents, team members, and customers
