Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare - West is seeking a compassionate Per Diem Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve independence and improve quality of life under supervision of an OT.

The role requires an active TX OTA license, COTA credential, and prior SNF or long-term care experience is preferred. Flexible schedules and competitive compensation are available in a PRN capacity.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• COTA credential required.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist
• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriate
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab
