Qualifications

• Associates Nursing (RN Diploma, ASN or ADN) required.
• Bachelors in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• RN Licensure (Virginia) and BLS/AHA training required or eligible.
• New hires must have AHA certification prior to orientation.

Responsabilités

• Administer nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Coordinate patient teaching, safety initiatives, and teamwork with health staff.
• Act as Charge Nurse as assigned and participate in unit PI activities.
• Maintain competency and complete yearly requirements per VH policies.
