Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is hiring an Operating Room Registered Nurse to support multiple surgical service lines within an ASC and hospital environment. You will deliver perioperative care and collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Required ASN or higher, Texas RN license, BLS, 2+ years OR experience, and ASC/hospital background; basic computer skills are needed.

Qualifications

• ASN or higher nursing degree.
• Active Texas RN license or compact license A.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• 2+ years RN experience in Operating Room.

Responsibilities

• Ambulatory Surgery Center or hospital experience; multi-site or float experience preferred.
• Deliver high quality age-specific patient care and develop relationships with ASC and Clinic staff.
• Communicate patient conditions clearly to physicians, anesthesia, management, staff, patients, families, and visitors.
• Provide safe and competent operative nursing care following organizational policies and AORN/ASPAN standards.
