Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks an experienced OR RN to join our Houston-area team. You will deliver high-quality age-appropriate patient care, collaborate with ASC and Clinic staff, and communicate patient conditions clearly to physicians, anesthesia, and care teams.

Requirements include ASN or higher, Texas RN license, BLS, 2+ years in the operating room, and a single service line. Preferred BSN, ACLS, and PALS; driver’s license and reliable transportation are also

Qualifications

• ASN or higher nursing degree; Texas RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years RN in Operating Room.
• Single service line experience.
• Proven basic computer skills.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in delivering high-quality age-specific patient care.
• Develop effective working relationships with all members of the ASC and Clinic.
• Communicate patient information clearly to physicians, anesthesia, management, staff, patients, families and visitors.
• Perform safe and competent operative nursing care per organizational policies and procedures.
• Perform safe operating room nursing care per AORN/ASPAN standards and organizational policies.
