Qualifications

• ASN or higher required.
• Active Texas RN license or compact license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years in Operating Room.
• RN experience in ASC or hospital setting.
• Basic computer skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Ambulatory Surgery Center or hospital experience; multi-site or float experience preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency delivering high-quality age-specific patient care and develop effective working relationships with ASC and Clinic staff.
• Communicate information effectively regarding patient conditions to physicians, anesthesia, management, staff, patients, families and visitors.
• Perform safe and competent operative nursing care according to policy, AORN and ASPAN standards.

Education

ASN or higher

Texas RN license (active) or compact license

Basic Life Support certification (BLS)

2+ years RN in Operating Room

RN experience in ASC or hospital setting

Basic computer skills
