Job summary

US Fertility in Chesterbrook, PA, seeks an OR/PACU RN for per diem coverage across weeks and occasional weekends. This role offers the chance to grow within a national fertility network while staying closely connected to patients and teams.

The OR/PACU RN will perform preoperative assessments, develop a care plan, administer medications, support patients and families, and supervise anesthesia care as required. A strong clinical foundation and independent judgment are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• 2–3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU preferred.
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
• Ability to work independently with good judgment.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial preoperative assessment and develops a plan of care.
• Identify patient care problems and formulate plans.
• Provide comfort measures and support to patient and family.
• Demonstrate proficiency with anesthesia or conscious sedation.
• Administer medications by IV and other routes as directed.
• Provide patient education.
