Job summary

US Fertility in Sandy Springs, GA is seeking an OR/PACU RN for per diem shifts. You will join a national network of physician-led fertility centers and contribute to patient care from preoperative assessment through recovery, while supporting families and physicians in a collaborative culture of excellence.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• 2–3 years in Operating Room or PACU preferred.
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills.
• Able to access and input data in a computer.
• Able to work independently with good judgment.
• Clear and concise communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial preoperative assessment, develops a plan of care, and explains the subsequent phases of surgery.
• Identify patient care problems and formulate a care plan.
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to patient and family.
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients with various anesthesia types or conscious sedation.
• Administer medications by IV and other routes as directed.
• Provide patient education.
