Job summary

US Fertility is seeking an OR/PACU RN to join our team in Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania. This per diem role offers scheduling flexibility, working during the week and every fourth weekend, with opportunities to grow within a nationally respected fertility network.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license with current BLS and ACLS, 2–3 years of Operating Room or PACU experience, and strong assessment, communication, and computer skills to support patient care before, during, and after surgery.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 2–3 years OR/PACU experience preferred.
• Strong assessment and communication skills.
• Able to input and retrieve information from a computer.
• Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems, formulate patient care plans.
• Perform initial preoperative assessment, develops a plan of care, and explains the subsequent phases of surgery.
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members.
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation.
• Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed.
