Job summary

Panorama Eyecare seeks a PRN Registered Nurse for Recovery (PACU) to join our eye care team in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The RN provides perioperative nursing care, assesses patients, educates caregivers, and assists in safe discharge planning.

This per diem position requires 2–3 shifts per month (5 hours minimum) with flexible AM/PM hours. Wyoming RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS within 3 months, and ophthalmology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Wyoming RN license or compact license
• BLS, ACLS and PALS within 3 months of employment
• Experience in preop/postop, PACU, or ambulatory surgery settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides expert pre- and post-operative nursing care in the PACU.
• Assesses patient needs, administers medications, and monitors recovery.
• Educates patient and caregiver to ensure safe discharge and home care.
