Job summary

Panorama Eyecare in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a Per Diem RN for Pre-Op/PACU to join a collaborative Eye Center team. The role offers 15 hours/week, 2–3 shifts monthly, with a pay range of $36–$42 per hour, based on experience and certification, at our Cheyenne clinic located at 1300 E 20th St.

You will provide pre- and post-operative nursing care, educate patients and caregivers, perform medication reconciliation, and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure safe, high-quality recovery

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Wyoming RN license current.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certified within 3 months of employment.
• Two years pre-operative, recovery or critical care experience preferred.
• EMR experience preferred.
• Ophthalmology surgery experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides RN care during pre-operative and recovery periods.
• Assesses, implements and evaluates patient care.
• Educates patient and caregiver for discharge and home care.
• Performs medication reconciliation and allergy review.
• Documents care and ensures safety throughout recovery.
• Coordinates with care team for continuity of care.
• Attends required staff meetings and adheres to Eye Center policies.
