Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem coverage with oncology specialty. The RN will provide high-quality care, administer chemotherapy/biotherapy, and uphold nursing standards across campuses.

Responsibilities include performance improvement activities, clinical leadership, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. Oncologic experience and NYS RN license are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an RN.
• Basic Life Support Training.
• Infection Control Training.
• Minimum of one year of oncology experience required.
• ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy provider certification strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of chemotherapy/biotherapy administration, infusion protocols, and patient safety standards strongly preferred.
• Effective English communication skills, both written and oral.
