Atlantic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (Per Diem, Days) for AMG Hematology/Oncology in Morristown, NJ. The RN will be part of an interdisciplinary team delivering ambulatory cancer care, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, while maintaining safety and quality outcomes.

Strong communication, organization, and computer skills are required, with at least a nursing program accreditation and NJ RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Valid NJ RN License.
• BSN highly preferred.
• 3+ years experience in outpatient or ambulatory setting.
• 2+ years in an acute care setting, preferably critical care.
• BLS Certification Required after hire.

Responsabilités

• Assists management with maintaining par inventory levels in a fiscally responsible manner.
• Takes appropriate clinical actions using available resources to achieve positive outcomes for patients, visitors and staff; prioritizes daily tasks.
• Identifies and recommends opportunities for improvement to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Utilizes computer systems as required (EMR).
• Provides care in ambulatory practices as an integral member of the healthcare team.
• Collects and assesses data to develop, execute and evaluate the plan of care.
• Drives clinical decisions using evidence to improve population health.
• Ensures safety and effectiveness in planning and delivering care.
