Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in theology, spirituality, pastoral ministry or equivalent subject matter accredited from a US Department of Education Approved Organization.
• Master of Divinity degree accredited from a US Department of Education Approved Organization: Preferred
• Ecclesiastical endorsement from the chaplain’s respective denomination or faith tradition: Required

Responsibilities

• Provides on-call pastoral care for patients and families in various situations.
• Offers comfort and support to patient family members and friends.
• Responds to requests for pastoral care in a timely manner.
• Ensures religious and spiritual needs of patients and loved ones are met; supports staff as a spiritual resource.
• Acts in alignment with organizational mission, core values and vision.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
