Job summary

Northwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Lowell is hiring per diem Occupational Therapists to join a dynamic care team. You will assess patients/residents, develop care plans, and provide direct treatment while collaborating with the clinical team and supervising other therapists and staff as required.

This per diem position offers weekly pay up to $55 per hour, with opportunities for caregiver training, documentation excellence, and ongoing professional development within a supportive

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Occupational Therapy.
• CEUs per state licensure requirements.
• Appropriate licensing requirements by individual states must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients/residents.
• Evaluate patients/residents and develop care plans.
• Provide direct resident treatments under physician orders.
• Consult with and train patients/residents and caregivers.
• Document activities according to the clinical documentation system.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
• Participate in census building and marketing activities.
• Provide supervision to staff, students, and volunteers.
