Job summary

Zenith Healthcare in Massachusetts is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions that promote functional independence and safety.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care, supervise COTAs, document progress, and assist with discharge planning. Per diem scheduling and ongoing professional growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Massachusetts OT license (or eligibility)
• NBCOT certification required
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders and regulatory guidelines
• Supervise and collaborate with COTAs
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state, federal, and facility requirements
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and safety strategies
• Support discharge planning to ensure continuity of care

Education

Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
