Job summary

Kale sta Healthcare Group in Merced, CA is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist to deliver and direct all aspects of quality patient care. You will evaluate, treat, plan goals, educate families, and document outcomes according to guidelines and standards.

You will also participate in QA and customer service activities and work under the Rehab Director. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, educating staff and payers on interventions, and maintaining compliance with licensure

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Occupational Therapist license and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy program and in good standing with regulatory boards.
• Knowledge of Medicare and other payor sources.
• Ability to read, interpret, and implement clinical guidelines and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop treatment plans based on physician orders and payer guidelines.
• Provide direct OT services and supervise assistants as required.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on therapeutic goals and outcomes.
• Complete accurate evaluations, progress notes, and reports per policy.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, and credentialing; ensure compliance with regulations.
