Job summary

OneWell Health Care is seeking a dedicated Per Diem Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to provide personalized therapy to individuals with IDD in home and community-based settings in Pennsylvania. This field-based role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to make a meaningful difference in clients' daily living and independence.

You will evaluate functional needs, develop goal-based treatment plans, document thoroughly, and collaborate with caregivers and an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure in the state of practice (PA).
• NBCOT certification and any required state-specific certifications.
• Proficiency in OT assessment tools, functional evaluations, sensory integration, and assistive technology.
• Willingness to travel to home and community-based service locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional, standardized, and observational assessments.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based OT in home and community-based settings.
• Help individuals strengthen daily living, functional, and adaptive skills.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.

OneWell Health Care is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to provide personalized therapy to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in home and community-based settings in Pennsylvania.

You will evaluate each individual's functional needs, develop goal-based treatment plans, and collaborate with caregivers and other professionals to support greater independence, meaningful participation, and quality of life.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Occupational Therapist Registration/Licensure (OTR/L) in the state of practice.
• Current NBCOT certification and any additional state-specific certifications required for practice.
• Strong clinical, documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in occupational therapy assessment tools, functional evaluation methods, sensory integration and developmental disability interventions, assistive technology, adaptive equipment, and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Valid driver's license, a clean driving record, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to home and community-based service locations. Flexibility to support varying schedules and assigned service areas is required.
• Experience supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), providing occupational therapy services in home or community-based settings, and delivering functional or adaptive skills training is preferred.
• English proficiency is required. Bilingual proficiency (including Spanish) is a plus.
