Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a per diem OB/GYN for the team in Ketchikan, Alaska. The assignment spans 50/50 OB/GYN duties, rotating between Hospital and Clinic, with 7–10 days per month coverage among relief providers.

Compensation includes an hourly pay rate of $256.37 and a 24-hour weekday call lump sum of $2,867 per day, plus additional weekend coverage pay. Airfare, lodging and transportation are provided for all assignments, with EPIC EMR in use.

Qualifications

• Licensed physician in the state and board certified or board eligible.
• Active DEA registration required.
• CPR certification required.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS may be required.
• Evidence of continuing medical education as applicable to OB/GYN.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule with on-call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Practice medicine within license, training and credentialing.
• Follow current standards of care and clinic quality criteria.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care across the lifespan.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
