Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking a Per-Diem Vocational Nursing Instructor to join our team in Hayward, CA. Hourly rate is $47-51 hourly dependent upon experience and education.

The position requires a Vocational Nursing License or RN License, with a minimum of 3 years nursing experience plus a Bachelor's degree or 6 years with an Associate's degree. Responsibilities include teaching lecture and clinical rotations, and contributing to program development.

Qualifications

Vocational Nursing License or RN License.
3 years Nursing experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 6 years with an Associate’s Degree.
Ability to utilize online activities to enhance course content.
Submit program reports to Director and stay current with college updates.
Maintain student records and comply with clinical requirements.

Responsibilities

Teach courses at various times and locations to meet program needs.
Deliver both lecture content and clinical rotations (days/evenings, weekdays/weekends).
Participate in professional development and CE hours for licensure renewal.
Actively participate in committees as assigned while prioritizing teaching duties.
