Job summary

Planned Parenthood North Central States in Rochester, MN seeks a Nurse Practitioner for a per diem position. The nurse will provide reproductive and sexual health care under supervision, with flexible scheduling and competitive hourly pay.

The role requires an active RN and APN license, board-certification as APN or PA, DEA license, BLS, and a Master’s degree. Per diem schedule is 32 hours per month, with weekday clinic hours and SEIU representation.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and APN license in the applying state.
• DEA license or ability to obtain at hire.
• Master’s degree or higher required.
• Current BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• National board-certification as APN or PA.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and perform physical exams as indicated.
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications.
• Provide patient education on plan of care and preventive health.
• Coordinate with Medical Director and Health Center Manager to meet clinic goals.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation.
• Prescribe FDA-approved birth control methods and manage follow-up care.
