Job summary

Planned Parenthood North Central States in Rochester, MN is seeking a Clinician to provide reproductive and sexual health care under supervision. You will work with the Advanced Practice Clinician Manager and team to deliver patient-centered services at designated health centers.

The role requires RN and APN licenses, a Master’s degree, and board certification. The position offers per diem scheduling, competitive hourly pay, and eligibility for PTO, ESST, and a 403(b) retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Current active, unencumbered state license as RN and APN.
• Current national board-certification as Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant.
• DEA license or ability to obtain at hire and enrollment in monitoring program as applicable.
• Advanced degree, minimally Master’s Degree.
• BLS Certification for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Obtain pertinent patient history and perform physical exams as indicated.
• Develop care plans, provide treatments, referrals, and prescribe medications as appropriate.
• Educate patients on plan of care, preventive health, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with Medical Director, Health Center Manager, and team to meet clinic goals.
• Prescribe FDA-approved birth control methods and provide related follow-up care.
